“The Teddy Bear Shop” in Adelaide South Australia is located in arguably the most prestigious Arcade in the city. Regent Arcade runs directly off of the main shopping Mall in the city – Rundle Mall. Our shop first opened it’s doors on December 3rd. 1991 and has grown from strength to strength during the years since that time. The shop, headed by Carolyn with Michele & Briony in support, prides itself on customer service with a firm policy of “If we haven’t got it – we’ll try almost anything to get it !”.

Our collectors range has grown to the point where it takes up almost half of our shop space. We are also a Club Store for collectibles such as Hermann, Steiff, Merrythought, Deans and Cherished Teddies. We are also very proud of our Australian Teddy Bear artists and we regularly stock bears by such artists as Briony Nottage (Brooke-Bri-Bears), Bob White (Bob’s Bears), Lexi Haworth (Bear of Haworth Cottage) and Susan Lewis-Pugh to name just a few from around our great country.

We also offer our Teddy Doctor Service. Your Ted will be in expert hands and will love to have a make-over to make him / her feel young again. All you need to do is bring Ted along to the shop and he will be delivered to the Teddy Doctor. She will ring you to talk over the operation and give you a no obligation price for the service. You will be able to pick up your fully recovered patient again from the shop after a short recovery period.

Dial-a-Teddy Service is also available. We do our best to service any requirements and deliveries to most suburbs can normally be achieved the same day if orders are placed before midday. You can phone or fax orders on the day or email the day before. All orders are delivered in our Teddy Bear Shop Bags with bows and tissue and all bears come with their personalized birth certificates.

If you have a particular need in the Teddy Bear Scene please contact us to see if we have it or can get it - We will do our best to locate any item for you. We are particularly keen to assist our country people who may, at times, have difficulty in getting down to the city - we are only a phone call, fax or E.mail message away to obtain information and photo’s or to simply buy a bear.
